A Boring Job Turns Exciting

My job is at best boring. I handle accounting and view the same invoices and reports day in and day out. You can only imagine the surprise and excitement I felt when I was told yesterday that I was needed to set up the accounting department in a new office that my company was opening in Quito, Ecuador. I never imagined in a million years that my job as an accountant would involve travel to a foreign country. I will be there for a month. The accountant that I will be training is bilingual so that will not be an obstacle. I speak a little Spanish but not as much as I would like in order to enjoy my time while I am not on the job during that month. Since I leave in four days, I find myself in need of finding Spanish language schools in Quito Ecuador. Taking the time to expand my Spanish vocabulary will surely make my trip more memorable.
